Munich is one of the most famous places in Germany, and it can be a wonderful place to visit. Maybe not quite as famous as Berlin, Munich still has plenty to offer the tourist, and many Germans might argue that Munich is the more German of the two different cities. Munich seamlessly blends wealthy business people with twenty four hour party people in this city of contradictions. The architecture in Munich is second to none in Germany, and the same can be said for the museums. Away from the more historically interesting side of the city, and there are literally thousands of beer cellars, where you can enjoy some of the local brews. Munich has somewhat of a crazy night life, and it can leave you feeling a little bit drained, but the city is a sleek and beautiful place in which to recover the next day!
